The price of standard gold bars has risen slightly in Kyrgyzstan

According to data from July 18, 2025, Kyrgyzstan has seen a slight increase in the difference between the buyback price and the sale price of standard gold bars weighing 31.1035 grams. This may indicate an increase in their production costs and related expenses.

Thus, on the specified date, the buyback price of one bar was 292,756.5 KGS, while the sale price was 297,148 KGS. The difference between these values was 4,391.5 KGS. For comparison, a year earlier, on July 18, 2024, the difference between the buyback price (216,400 KGS) and the sale price (219,646 KGS) was 3,246 KGS.

Thus, the difference in value increased by 1,145.5 KGS. It is noteworthy that the percentage difference between prices also increased by five hundredths of a percent, but still remained within 1.5%. Although the nominal increase seems insignificant, it may indicate an increase in production costs or logistics expenses, which are traditionally included in the sale price of measured ingots.
