Kyrgyzstan Discusses Draft National Development Program Until 2030

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev held a meeting to discuss the draft National Development Program of Kyrgyzstan until 2030.

The strategic document defines the main priorities and directions of state development until 2030.

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev noted the importance of high-quality development of the strategy, the purpose of which is to ensure sustainable economic growth, improve the quality of life of citizens, and create conditions for the prosperous life of future generations.

«Our main goal is to improve the well-being of citizens." "We must achieve this goal by supporting high rates of economic growth, developing the social environment and human capital, infrastructure, regional development, and public administration», — he said.

Adylbek Kasymaliev continued that the national program is planned to be adopted by the end of March this year. The document is in the final stage of consideration and revision.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the main directions of the project.

In particular, based on the analysis, four key areas were identified, which together form a solid foundation for long-term development. These include: industrialization, promotion and development of the Kyrgyz Republic as a center for logistics, trade and financial flows in the region, leadership in agriculture and tourism, introduction of renewable energy technologies, ensuring energy security and sustainable development.

Following the discussion, government agencies were instructed to study the project in the relevant areas and provide specific recommendations.
