In Kyrgyzstan, 17 million soms will be spent on maps of historical monuments in two districts

The Republican Inspectorate for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments has announced a tender for the creation of maps of cultural heritage sites in the Issyk-Kul and Kara-Suu districts. The total procurement amount is 17 million 296.9 thousand soms.

According to the public procurement portal, 8 million 830 thousand soms are planned to be allocated for the development of the cultural heritage map of the Issyk-Kul district, while 8 million 466.9 thousand soms will be directed to the Kara-Suu district.

Contractors will be required to carry out cartographic work and prepare materials in accordance with the technical specifications. The work must be completed by December 1, 2026. Interim payments will be made based on acceptance certificates for completed services.

One of the key requirements for participants is to have a valid open permit for conducting archaeological research or a contract with an archaeologist holding such authorization.

All materials collected within the project, including maps, reports, and documents, will be transferred into the ownership of the Ministry of Culture and the Republican Inspectorate for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments.
