Thirty-four enterprises were involved in the development and implementation of new solutions. Moreover, 33 of them have already reached the final stage of the innovation process. The result is the release of 41 new types of products: from food and clothing to rubber products, building materials, and coal mining products.
The innovation map by region looks like this: the leader is the Batken region, where 10 enterprises implemented innovations, accounting for 29% of the total number of innovation-active companies. Next comes the city of Osh with 8 enterprises (24%), Chuysky region – 7 enterprises (21%), Naryn region – 6 enterprises (18%). Bishkek accounted for 2 enterprises (6%).
The growth in innovation activity shows that industry is gradually moving away from inertial development and beginning to look for new competitive niches.
