In Kyrgyzstan, permits for international transport can now be obtained in 10 minutes

Kyrgyzstan has simplified procedures for road hauliers. Obtaining permits for international road transport to China now takes 10 minutes instead of 1 day. This was announced by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev during a staff meeting.

In 2025, 130,000 permits were exchanged between Kyrgyzstan and China. Previously, the process required documents to be submitted in person to the Ministry of Transport and took up to 24 hours. Now, e-Permit software has been introduced: online applications, cashless payments and electronic data exchange via the Tündük platform have reduced bureaucracy to 10 minutes.

The meeting also discussed reforms concerning the crossing of borders between EAEU member states. Road hauliers are no longer required to provide paper documents: data exchange between government agencies is fully automated, and electronic permits for cabotage transport have been introduced. The time required to pass through transport controls has been significantly reduced, and administrative barriers have been lowered.

According to Kasymaliyev, these measures have already received positive feedback from the international community and partners from the United Arab Emirates.
