08/18/2025, 15:52Kyrgyzstan is preparing to simplify the procedure for replacing driver's licenses. Applications can be submitted via the State Electronic Services Portal or a mobile app, without visiting the Vehicle Registration Agency.
The reform aims to reduce bureaucracy and eliminate queues: today, submitting an application takes from 30 minutes to an hour and a half, which often causes discontent among citizens. With the introduction of the online service, the time for issuing a license will be reduced from four working days to one or two.
The finished document can be obtained in person or delivered to your home by mail. The draft government resolution has been published for public discussion on the Koom Talkuu portal.
