08/15/2025, 14:34A ban on tax audits for tax periods prior to January 1, 2022 has been introduced. This was announced by Deputy Head of the State Tax Service Kubanychbek Isabekov.
“However, within the framework of criminal proceedings, tax audits may still be conducted in accordance with the law,” emphasized Kubanychbek Isabekov.
In addition, a “taxpayer rating” system is being introduced to assess the integrity and reliability of taxpayers.
"Depending on the rating, different measures will be provided for taxpayers. For example, those with a high rating will receive fewer audits, the possibility of paying tax arrears in installments, and other concessions. For entrepreneurs with a low rating, on the contrary, control will be tightened," said the deputy chairman.
This system is aimed at supporting business, developing fair competition, and improving tax culture.
