03/03/2025, 13:21Under the chairmanship of the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, a new phase of reforms under the Government Accelerators programme has been launched. The purpose of the reforms is to promptly address key issues, such as simplification of procedures in the transport and medical spheres.
Within the framework of the new format of work, a mechanism of 100-day reforms was introduced, which will allow more efficient solution of the most important issues.
One of the priority tasks was to simplify the process of obtaining a special permit for the transport of bulky and heavy cargo. Currently, the process of obtaining a permit involves up to 10 steps and, due to the lack of automation, is time-consuming. It is planned that by the end of 100 days the information systems of the relevant agencies will be integrated, which will significantly speed up the procedure and reduce logistics costs.
The second important task is to simplify the process of obtaining the 083 medical certificate required for obtaining a driving licence. Currently, the process of obtaining a certificate takes up to 7 days and includes visits to several doctors. In order to improve the process, it is planned to introduce digital services, which will eliminate the need to submit paper documents.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers has decided to switch government meetings to the format of video conferences in order to efficiently use the working time of ministers, saving time for travelling. The reforms will be summarised in 100 days.
