Illegal expenditure of budget funds revealed in Kochkor

During an inspection conducted by the Kochkor District Prosecutor's Office in the Ormon-Khan Aigil Aimak, it was established that in 2024, officials of the Aigil Aimak concluded a contract with L.G. LLC for the supply of goods not provided for in the state procurement plan.

Despite the fact that the services were not actually provided, 50% of the contract amount was transferred to the account of the said company as an advance payment. As a result, the local budget suffered losses in excess of 1 million KGS.

A criminal case has been opened under Articles 337 (abuse of office) and 209 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, and an investigation is underway.
