The total area of the new workshop is 844.5 square meters. Its estimated cost is 42 million 793 thousand soms, financed by JSC “National Electric Grid of Kyrgyzstan”. Construction and installation works were carried out by Shirin Business Group LLC.
With the commissioning of this production facility, it is planned to produce 5,500 reinforced concrete poles of the SV-95, SV-105, and SV-110 brands annually, as well as 24 poles per day. In addition, 8 jobs are being created. The workshop's products will be used to upgrade the energy infrastructure of the Kochkor district and will also contribute to providing high-quality and affordable materials for capital construction projects in the Naryn region.
According to the minister, the opening of the reinforced concrete products workshop in Kochkor plays a significant role in the development of local production and the strengthening of regional infrastructure.
"The Ministry of Energy has made a number of significant achievements in recent years in terms of providing the population with uninterrupted power supply. As part of reforms aimed at modernizing the energy sector, we have built new facilities and substations, purchased equipment, installed smart meters and new transformers. We are also creating workshops like this one. We really need them. When replacing old poles with new ones, we will no longer have to purchase them elsewhere—we will produce and use them ourselves. If there is a surplus, we will be able to sell it, which will bring additional funds to the RES. And we, as energy workers, must remember our main goal—to provide the population with heat and light," said the minister.
