10/27/2025, 17:50In the Kochkor district of the Naryn region, large-scale reconstruction work on the central stadium is in full swing.
The construction and repair work is being carried out by the state-owned enterprise Kyrgyzkurulush under the Ministry of Construction. The project is being implemented on the instructions of President Sadyr Zhaparov and is under the supervision of Kamchybek Tashiev, Chairman of the State Committee for National Security.
The reconstruction is aimed at creating a modern sports infrastructure that meets national standards. The renovated stadium will become an important centre for district and republican competitions, as well as a venue for the development of sports among young people.
The stadium was built in 1980 and has not undergone any major reconstruction since then.
