Mr. Wang Xing is listed as the head of the bank.
The bank's legal address is in Bishkek at 222 Ogonbaeva Street, which coincides with the location of one of its founders, the microfinance company Alma Credit. The company has been present in the Kyrgyz market since 2013 and is headed by Ermek Ormotoev.
The bank has a total of six founders, three of whom are believed to be Chinese citizens: Wang Quangan, Kang Jianlin, and Liu Wen Zhong. The latter is also the founder of two companies that are among the bank's founders, — Baden Service LLC, which is engaged in the construction of residential and non-residential buildings, and Kyrgyz Temir Group LLC.
The bank's registration with the judicial authorities indicates that its founders have received preliminary approval from the regulator to establish the bank. However, they still have to obtain a banking license from the NBS, which can take six months or more from the date of application. Asman Bank and Muras Bank are currently awaiting licenses.
We would like to add that, according to the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, as of August 1, there were 21 commercial banks operating in the country.
