The 10 kV Sovkhoz Leylek feeder was built in 1964 and has a total length of 65 kilometres.
It originates from the 35/10 kV substation ‘Isfana’ and supplies electricity to the areas of Prithavka, Kara-Suu, Zhan-Abad, which belong to the Razzakov City Council, as well as the entire Sumbulinsky Ayyl Okmotu.
To date, reconstruction work covers a 14.6-kilometre section. As part of the project, old wooden poles are being replaced with modern and reliable reinforced concrete poles — a total of 365 units will be installed. Outdated wires are also being replaced with SIP-3 cable.
The feeder supplies electricity to 80 transformer points and serves 3,941 subscribers. The work is being carried out by employees of the Leylek District Electric Network. The main objectives are to ensure a reliable and uninterrupted power supply to the population, reduce the number of emergency power cuts, reduce technical losses and improve electrical safety.
It should be noted that the Batken Electric Grid Company is continuing similar work in other districts of the region. This is an important step not only in upgrading the regional infrastructure, but also in improving the living conditions of the local population.
