11/05/2026, 14:09The ‘Metallstroy’ steel structure factory has opened in the town of Manas in the Jalal-Abad region. $2.5 million in private funds has been invested in the project. This was reported by the press office of the Cabinet of Ministers.
In the first phase, the company plans to produce 1,400 tonnes of steel structures per year. The plant will create 50 jobs.
The plant is equipped with machinery for laser cutting and milling metal.
The opening ceremony on 5 November was attended by the Prime Minister, Adylbek Kasymaliev. He noted that the development of the construction sector is increasing demand for domestic building materials and steel structures.
According to the Prime Minister, the launch of production will reduce dependence on imports and increase the volume of added value within the country. In the long term, the plant also plans to expand production and increase its export potential.
