09/15/2026, 14:21The ‘Akylman’ Presidential Lyceum has opened in the city of Manas, in the Jalal-Abad Region. The school has a capacity of 410 pupils; following a three-stage selection process, 144 pupils from Years 7 and 8 have now been enrolled.
The lyceum is equipped with 35 modern classrooms, specialist laboratories, a sports hall, a swimming pool, an assembly hall and sports grounds. The school provides pupils with the conditions they need for study, sport, and creative and intellectual development.
The Prime Minister, Adylbek Kasymaliev, attended the opening ceremony on 15 September. He noted that the modern building itself is only the first step, and that the further development of the lyceum depends on the work of the teaching staff, the pupils’ thirst for knowledge and the educational environment.
He also reminded those present that, on the President’s instructions, graduates of the ‘Akylman’ Lyceum will be given priority, upon obtaining their qualifications, when
