18,500 per month — with no guarantee of safety. Complaints have been made about the Creative Taaleem private school

Serious safety violations have been identified at the Creative Taalim private school, where parents pay 18,500 KGS per month for their children's education in the lower grades. Following an inspection on January 28, the school may face questions about its future licensing.

The inspection was conducted with the participation of Bishkek Deputy Mayor Victoria Mozgacheva and a working group. Despite the school's fee-paying status and the high cost of education for most families, free access to the boiler room, an open excavation pit, and unsanitary conditions were found on the premises of the educational institution. The lack of fences and restrictive measures poses a direct threat to the life and health of children.

In addition, the school uses solid fuel combustion equipment without exhaust gas cleaning systems, which is harmful to the environment. The management has been instructed to work on installing modern gas cleaning equipment.

Violations were also identified in the classrooms. The classrooms on the third floor do not meet fire and sanitary safety requirements. At the same time, the school administration did not present a previously issued order, in connection with which appeals will be sent to the authorized state bodies and the Ministry of Education to assess compliance with licensing requirements.

Following the inspection, the school was instructed to eliminate the violations as soon as possible, cordon off dangerous areas, and bring the territory and premises into compliance with regulations.

With tuition fees comparable to almost half of the average salary in the country (about 42,000 KGS), parents have the right to expect safe and standard-compliant conditions, which, as the inspection showed, the school was unable to provide.
