04/26/2026, 14:11A renovated section of Abdullaev Street has been opened to traffic in Osh. As a result of the work carried out, the road surface has been completely renewed, creating more comfortable and safer conditions for both pedestrians and drivers.
At the same time, work on developing the road infrastructure in Osh is continuing. For instance, the project to widen Zhidelik and Osh Streets has been revised to take residents’ suggestions into account and has been resubmitted to the public.
According to the updated project, a 2.7-kilometre section of Osh Street up to Babaraimova Street will be widened, and a further 3.2 kilometres – up to Raimbekova Street – are also planned for widening.
It is planned that the road will become a four-lane carriageway with a total width of 26 metres. The project includes the construction of pedestrian crossings, green spaces and a modern irrigation system.
