Vehicles violating emission standards were identified in Osh, and violators were fined 37,500 KGS

During an environmental raid in Osh, vehicles polluting the atmosphere were identified. Violators were fined a total of 37,500 KGS.

On 12 November, a raid was conducted in the city of Osh and the Kara-Suu district to control harmful emissions from motor vehicles. The inspection was carried out by inspectors from the Osh Regional Department of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service under the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Environmental Management of the Kyrgyz Republic, together with city and district ecologists.

The event was aimed at identifying vehicles that emit pollutants and was conducted with the aim of improving air quality and reducing the environmental impact.

During the inspection, violations of established standards were recorded. Five reports were drawn up against the owners of the offending vehicles in accordance with the Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The total amount of fines imposed was 37,500 KGS.
