01/14/2026, 12:12To provide housing for graduates of the Lotus and Altyn Uya orphanages, a multi-story residential building with 28 apartments is being built in the city.
Mayor Zhenishbek Toktorbaev inspected the progress of construction work and noted the need to create comfortable and safe conditions for the children.
The apartments will be provided to the graduates of these orphanages free of charge for a period of 10 years. In the future, the city administration will continue to work to ensure the future of the graduates, provide them with housing, and offer social support. The construction is being carried out at the expense of the local budget.
In 2025, a total of 15 children graduated from the Lotus and Altyn Uya orphanages. Due to their lack of permanent housing, the city authorities made a special decision.
This year, nine more children are preparing to leave the orphanages: five from the Lotus orphanage and four from the Altyn Uya orphanage. In the coming months, it is planned to complete the construction of this apartment building and put it into operation.
