Employees of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision found 15 nets with a total area of 1 thousand 500 square metres, installed by poachers in Lake Issyk-Kul. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry.

It is specified that the raid took place on the territory from the village Grigoryevka to the village Ananyevo. 

Such events are held to protect biodiversity and fisheries of Issyk-Kul, as well as to prevent illegal fishing.

The agency notes that such activities will continue.
