New textbooks began arriving at schools across the country

The state institution «Okuu Kitebi» under the Ministry of Education has been granted the right to use teaching and learning materials for several subjects. The textbooks are currently being adapted for schools teaching in Kyrgyz and Russian, undergoing editorial preparation and being printed by the joint-stock company «Uchkun».

To date, approximately 300,000 copies of mathematics textbooks for first-graders have been printed. The books have already been delivered to schools.  For second-graders, 344,660 mathematics textbooks have also been printed. In addition, about 300,000 textbooks on the subject ‘Me and the World’ for young children have already been printed and distributed to schools. Textbooks on natural sciences are being prepared for printing.

The Ministry of Education specifies that the textbooks have been prepared in accordance with state educational standards and are aimed at improving the quality of education.
