Pensions will be increased next year, but the exact amount of the increase is not yet known

In 2026, pensions will be increased by a significant amount for the population. This was announced by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev at a meeting of the committees of the Jogorku Kenesh.

During the meeting, MP Dastan Bekeshev asked whether pensions and benefits would be increased in 2026 and by how much.

Kasymaliyev noted that the government, together with the Social Fund, is working to ensure that next year's pension increase is significant for citizens.

‘There will also be an increase next year. Pensions will increase annually,’ he said.

In response, Kasymaliyev said that it is currently impossible to specify the exact amount of the increase.

Later, the chairman of the Social Fund, Bakhtiar Aliyev, answered this question. He noted that the amount of the pension increase will depend on the volume of insurance contributions received in the first half of 2026, and in accordance with this, they will try to increase pensions by a more significant amount.
