Seven orphaned children in the Sokuluk District have been allocated plots of land

Officials from the Sokuluk District Prosecutor’s Office carried out an investigation, which revealed that the Manas Aiyl Okmotu had failed to fully safeguard the housing rights of children left without parental care.

Following the measures taken by the prosecutor’s office, a prosecutor’s response was submitted to the relevant authorities regarding the need to provide the children with plots of land and housing.

As a result, seven children were provided with plots of land in the ‘Semei’ residential area.
In accordance with Article 13 of the Children’s Code and Article 43 of the Housing Code, guarantees of a child’s right to housing are provided in accordance with the procedure established by housing legislation. Orphans without housing are entitled to priority allocation of residential accommodation upon reaching the age of 16.
