The opening of a new maternity ward and children's hospital in the Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region is accompanied by comprehensive measures to support medical staff and the healthcare system as a whole.

As noted by Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev, staff at the new medical facility will be provided with official accommodation, as well as apartments being built by the State Mortgage Company. In addition, the wage fund for medical workers will be doubled, a measure that should increase the attractiveness of the profession and retain qualified personnel in the region.

At the end of the ceremony, President Sadyr Zhaparov handed over two ambulances to the hospital, fully equipped with everything necessary to provide emergency medical care.

After the official part, the head of state talked with local residents. They thanked Zhaparov for his attention to the region and expressed hope that the new maternity hospital would become a place where strong and worthy citizens of Kyrgyzstan would be born.

Earlier it was reported that the construction of the maternity hospital and children's hospital was made possible thanks to both budget funding and private initiative. In particular, the Tashiev family invested their own funds in one of the buildings by selling their oil depot.
