According to the Talas Interdistrict Administration for Labour, Social Security and Migration, as of 5 June this year, 3,868 people were officially registered as seeking employment.
Although this is 22% less than a year earlier (a decrease of 1,093 people), the situation on the labour market remains difficult.
Of the total number of unemployed, 2,410 people have official unemployed status. Compared to the same period last year, their number has decreased by 20%.
At the same time, the number of available vacancies in the region is extremely low. At the beginning of June, employers reported only 148 job vacancies. Thus, there are currently an average of 26 applicants per vacancy.
Therefore, the issue of creating new jobs remains relevant for the region.
