Illegal mining activities have been identified in the Talas region

Employees of the Talas Regional Administration of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service under the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision continue to work to prevent illegal use of natural resources.

During an inspection carried out in the village of Semetey in the Manas district of the Talas region, illegal extraction of sand and gravel mixture was detected. In this case, a report was drawn up against citizen M.E.B. in accordance with Part 4 of Article 243 of the Code of the Kyrgyz Republic on Offences, and a fine of 13,000 KGS was imposed.

In addition, during a raid conducted in the Kumushtaq tract of the Bakai-Ata district, inspectors from the Talas Regional Administration, together with employees of the Ministry's Department for Specially Protected Natural Areas and Biological Diversity, uncovered illegal fishing.

As a result, citizen K.A.T. was fined 10,000 KGS in accordance with Part 1 of Article 261 of the Kyrgyz Republic's Code of Offences.
