08/05/2025, 09:00The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkey, Ruslan Kazakbaev, met with the President of the Malatya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Oguzhan Atasadykoglu, as part of the chamber's regular reporting meeting.
During the event, the parties discussed prospects for strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, paying particular attention to cooperation in the fields of agriculture, light industry and green energy.
Ruslan Kazakbaev gave a presentation, detailing the advantages of doing business in Kyrgyzstan, in particular, state support for investors, the republic's strategic location, favourable investment climate and tax-free access to the EAEU market. The Turkish side was also offered projects for the import of apricots from the Kyrgyz Republic and their joint processing.
In turn, CCI President Oguzhan Ata Sadikoglu noted his interest in cooperation with Kyrgyz partners and expressed his readiness to support initiatives aimed at strengthening business ties.
In addition, the ambassador visited the organised industrial zone (OIZ) in Malatya province, where he familiarised himself with the activities of a number of enterprises and discussed with business representatives the possibilities for trade and economic cooperation, as well as the prospects for attracting Turkish investment in various sectors of the Kyrgyz economy.
During his working visit, Ruslan Kazakbaev familiarised himself with innovative projects and start-ups being implemented in the Malatya Technopark and discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of science, technology and innovation, including opportunities for establishing direct contacts between the technoparks of the Kyrgyz Republic and Turkey.
Following the visit, an agreement was reached to organise a business delegation from Malatya to Kyrgyzstan, including the Batken region, in the near future, taking into account the twinning relations between Batken and Malatya.
