01/12/2026, 14:33The 2025 Human Development Report warns that preparing young people for life in a world of artificial intelligence requires a review of approaches to learning.
Experts note that the education system should focus not only on the duration of study, but also on the quality of knowledge acquisition, as well as the development of critical, creative and social thinking. Simply increasing the amount of time spent in class no longer guarantees future success.
‘When integrating AI into the education system, it should not be used as a “crutch” for teachers or students, but rather as an assistant for discovering new approaches to learning,’ the document notes.
