Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade decreased by 10.6% in January–October

The volume of foreign and mutual trade in goods in Kyrgyzstan amounted to $12.8 billion over the first ten months of the year. This is 10.6% less than in the same period in 2024. These figures were provided by the National Statistical Committee.

The decline primarily concerns export shipments. They fell by 38.2%, while imports decreased by only 0.3%. The foreign trade balance thus deteriorated due to a sharp decline in sales of Kyrgyz products to foreign markets.

In the structure of mutual trade with the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, two partners traditionally lead the way: Russia (64.3% of mutual trade) and Kazakhstan (33.2%).

The other countries of the union, Belarus and Armenia, account for only a small share.
