Kyrgyzstan's GDP has increased by 11.7% since the beginning of the year

According to the Eurasian Development Bank, the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic is showing steady growth. In January–April 2025, the country's GDP increased by 11.7% year-on-year, which is only slightly lower than the first quarter figure of 13.1%.

Industry made the main contribution to economic growth in April, accounting for 2.6 percentage points of total GDP growth. In addition, the construction sector (+2.5 percentage points) and domestic trade (+2 percentage points) provided significant support.

The active phase of economic recovery and structural growth continues against a backdrop of domestic demand, investment activity, and a stable macroeconomic situation. Experts note that the current growth rates exceed the regional average, which strengthens Kyrgyzstan's position.
