09/14/2026, 12:41According to preliminary data, Kyrgyzstan’s GDP for January–August 2026 stood at 1 trillion 396.8 billion KGS. Compared with the same period in 2025, the economy grew by 11 per cent.
Industrial output reached 600.8 billion KGS. The physical volume of industrial output rose by 8.8 per cent.
The greatest growth in production was recorded in transport vehicles – up 46.8 per cent; wood and paper products and printing – up 44.7 per cent; construction materials – up 33.4 per cent; and pharmaceuticals – up 15.1 per cent.
Production of food, beverages and tobacco products rose by 8.4 per cent, mineral extraction by 8.9 per cent, and base metals by 3.1 per cent.
Construction grew 1.6-fold, agriculture by 6.4 per cent, and wholesale and retail trade by 4.4 per cent.
