Over the year, essential goods rose in price by almost 500 KGS; in 2024, the food basket cost an average of 5,176 KGS. Price increases were recorded for most key items.
The most noticeable increase was in the price of meat, which rose from 1,632 KGS to 1,862 KGS per person per month. Vegetables also saw a significant increase, rising by almost 70 KGS over the year, as did milk and dairy products, which exceeded 1,100 KGS.
Bread products and other food groups also rose in price, although the increase was less sharp. At the same time, prices for fruits and berries, eggs and sugar fell slightly, but this did not offset the overall increase in the cost of the food basket.
