Over the week, the price of an ounce of gold rose by more than 25,000 KGS

Over the week, the buyback price of a troy ounce of gold in Kyrgyzstan rose significantly. On October 13, the National Bank set the price at 350,124 soms, but by October 17, it had reached 375,261.50 KGS. In four days, the price per ounce increased by more than 25,000 KGS.

The increase occurred daily. On October 14, an ounce cost 360,744.5 KGS, and on October 15, it cost 363,399 KGS. The most noticeable jump occurred in the middle of the week, when gold rose in price by almost 7,000 KGS, reaching 370,246 KGS.

The price of gold continues to break records on the exchanges. For example, on October 15, the price of the precious metal reached a record high of $4,210 per troy ounce on the COMEX commodity exchange.

Foreign experts believe that the rise in precious metal prices is caused by increased investor interest in defensive assets amid escalating trade disputes between the US and China.
