Lawyers' salaries in Kyrgyzstan have increased by almost 19% over the year

Bishkek, Zlata writes. In 2025, the median expected salary for lawyers in Kyrgyzstan reached 59,306 soms, which is 18.6% higher than in 2024 (50,000 soms). These figures were presented by the headhunter.kg platform in its analysis of the ‘Lawyers’ professional field for the period from January to mid-September.

The growth in salaries is accompanied by an increase in the activity of job seekers. The number of CVs posted in this sector has grown by 13.3% compared to last year. The majority of CVs are still from Bishkek, accounting for almost 40% of all publications. Among the regions, lawyers from Osh, Jalal-Abad and Tokmok were the most active in posting.

On the other hand, employers have also increased the number of vacancies and salary offers. The median salary offered reached 50,178 soms, which is 33.8% higher than last year's level. Most vacancies are in Bishkek, but there has also been an increase in the number of offers in Osh, and a record 100% increase in vacancies has been recorded in Cholpon-Ata.

The labour market competition index among lawyers fell to 2.8 (from 2.9 in 2024), indicating a decrease in the number of available specialists in the labour market.
