08/29/2025, 17:34The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration, together with the Office of the Presidential Representative in the Osh Region, held a working meeting to discuss the most pressing social issues facing the region's residents.
The discussion was attended by representatives of local authorities, regional departments of the ministry and social workers from the aiyl aimaks.
Key topics included the situation of persons with disabilities, support for children in difficult life situations, including migrant families, and the procedure for assigning and paying state benefits. The need to increase the volume of paid public works was noted.
The low wages of social workers serving vulnerable groups were discussed separately. In addition, employees of the aiyl okmotu pointed out technical difficulties in creating electronic social passports for low-income families.
Following the meeting, it was decided to prepare proposals on the issues raised and include them in the joint work plan of the central authorities and the President's plenipotentiary representatives for 2026.
