Will the government not receive 10% of the housing? Bishkekkurulush shareholders withdrew the issue from the vote

At its annual general meeting of shareholders on April 24, the construction company “Bishkekkurulush” did not consider the issue of transferring a portion of its housing stock to state ownership without compensation. The agenda item calling for the transfer of 10% of the completed housing stock was withdrawn from the vote.

Initially, this issue was included on the agenda and was supposed to be one of the key decisions of the meeting; however, the shareholders ultimately did not bring it up for discussion.

The meeting was held with a quorum of 68.4%. According to publicly available data, the company had 1,208 shareholders as of the end of 2024.

Decisions were made on other agenda items. Specifically, shareholders approved the 2025 activity report, financial statements, and the auditor’s report, as well as the 2026 budget.

In addition, a decision was made to pay dividends of 15 KGS per share. The payment date is set for July 20.

A new version of the company’s charter was also approved, and compensation for members of the board of directors was approved.
