Mineral rights up for sale – three deposits in Issyk-Kul put up for auction

The Kyrgyz Geological Service has announced an auction for the development of three deposits in the Issyk-Kul region. Starting prices range from 3,900 KGS to 55,000 KGS.

Three sites are up for auction: the Kurmentin deposit (loam) from 7,305 KGS, the Kurkaksay deposit (gypsum) from 3,985 KGS in the Tyup district, and the ‘Central’ section of the Soguta deposit (kaolin and quartz sandstone) in the Ton district.

The auctions will take place on 11 and 12 June 2026 at the district state administration buildings. To participate, documents must be submitted by 8 June in Bishkek. The winners will receive licences for the development of mineral resources.
