The Representative Office of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan in Russia helped 11 citizens of the country to recover their outstanding wages. The workers had previously reported non-payment by the management of the construction company RBK Stroyinvest LLC.
Following the appeal from their compatriots, staff at the Representative Office took prompt action. As a result, the outstanding wages totalling 1,872,000 KGS were transferred to the affected workers.
The Ministry of Labour reminded Kyrgyz nationals working in Russia that they are entitled to free legal assistance in the event of a breach of their labour rights, including non-payment of wages or compensation for workplace injuries.
