09/22/2026, 13:31The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has approved a model code of business ethics for the business environment and recommendations on assessing and reducing corruption risks. The relevant Resolution No. 626 was signed by the Prime Minister, Adylbek Kasymaliev, on 18 September 2026.
The document aims to foster an anti-corruption culture in the business environment and reduce corruption risks in Kyrgyzstan.
The model code sets out general principles of business ethics for entrepreneurs. Separate recommendations on assessing and minimising corruption risks have been approved.
Entrepreneurs are advised to develop and adopt their own internal codes of business ethics based on this model document. Companies are also encouraged to implement procedures for assessing and managing corruption risks, taking into account the approved recommendations.
The decree will come into force 15 days after its official publication.
