    Adylbek Kasymaliyev held a meeting with Japanese Minister of Justice Keisuke Suzuki

    Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev received Japanese Minister of Justice Keisuke Suzuki, who arrived in Kyrgyzstan on a working visit.

    During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for developing bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.

    Adylbek Kasymaliyev, welcoming the Japanese guest, noted that Kyrgyzstan is always happy to see friends from Japan. He particularly highlighted the successful official visit of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov to Japan in 2023, during which fruitful talks were held with the Prime Minister of Japan on key issues of the bilateral agenda.

    The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers also emphasised that, following the visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan to Japan in 2023, Kyrgyz-Japanese relations are developing in a spirit of friendship and comprehensive partnership.

    Touching upon regional agenda issues, Adylbek Kasymaliyev mentioned the planned first summit of the heads of state of the Central Asia-Japan Dialogue, assuring that Kyrgyzstan fully supports this initiative and attaches great importance to the new format of cooperation.
    During the meeting, Adylbek Kasymaliyev called on Japan to take an active part at a high level in the Second Global Mountain Summit ‘Bishkek+25,’ which will be held in Kyrgyzstan in 2027.

    In turn, Japanese Minister of Justice Keisuke Suzuki expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and confirmed Japan's readiness to further deepen cooperation, noting the importance of partnership for Japan with Kyrgyzstan, both in bilateral and multilateral formats.
