Former head of the State Security Service security service appointed head of the Tourism Development Support Fund

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan has appointed Adilet Januzakov as director general of the Tourism Development Support Fund.

Januzakov was born on July 4, 1986, in Bishkek. In 2009, he graduated with honors from the Military University of the Russian Ministry of Defense with a degree in law.

Prior to his appointment, he held senior positions in the defense, law enforcement, and emergency response systems. From March 2024 to March 2025, Januzakov headed the Security and Escort Service of the Ministry of Justice (GSIN). Previously, he was director of the Situation Center of the Presidential Administration and deputy head of the Department of Defense, Law Enforcement, and Emergency Situations of the Government Apparatus.

Over the years of his service, he has been awarded Certificates of Honour from the government, letters of gratitude from the prime minister and the CSTO medal “For Strengthening Collective Security”.
