Airports of Kyrgyzstan carried out a major recapitalisation through the stock exchange

Airports of Kyrgyzstan JSC strengthened its capital through an additional issue of shares placed on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange. At the end of trading on 3 September, the volume of transactions with the company's ordinary shares amounted to more than 4 billion KGS, which was the highest figure of the day.

A total of over 9.6 million shares were sold at a price of 424.066 KGS per share. As a result, the company raised 4 billion 85 million 574.6 thousand KGS through the exchange. A total of 88 transactions were concluded during the trading session.

The decision to increase the number of shares in circulation was made by the shareholders on 28 April this year at a general meeting. At the end of 2024, the share capital of Airports of Kyrgyzstan amounted to 11 billion 818.3 million KGS.

We would like to add that at the end of July, the shares of Kyrgyzstan Airports OJSC were distributed as follows: the controlling stake was held by the state, 80.07% (through GAUGI), and another 8.57% was held by the Social Fund. About 8.5% of the shares were held by individuals.
