Since 2011, seven state-funded leasing projects, initiated by the Ministry with the support of the Cabinet of Ministers, have been implemented in the country. The programmes are administered through OJSC ‘A Bank’ and OJSC ‘Eldik Bank’.
Under these leasing schemes, agricultural producers are provided with machinery and equipment for the processing sector on favourable terms for a period of up to seven years, at an interest rate of 6 per cent per annum.
To date, 11,986 units of agricultural machinery with a total value of 24.8 billion som have been provided to farmers under these state leasing schemes.
In 2026 alone, agricultural producers received 2,186 units of machinery worth 6.7 billion som through these leasing schemes.
The Ministry notes that modernising the fleet of machinery and tractors is one of the key areas for supporting the agricultural sector and improving the efficiency of agricultural production.
