08/29/2024, 12:11The Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration announced the start of accepting applications for participation in the interest-free lending program “Social Contract”. This initiative aims to support participants in the social contract by providing interest-free loans for the expansion and support of businesses or subsistence farms.
In 2024, 2 billion soms will be allocated for the implementation of the “Social Contract” program. As President Sadyr Zhaparov said at the nationwide meeting on social mobilization “Jany kadam”, this program will help poor families to get out of poverty by providing various formats of support. One of such formats is interest-free loans of up to 200 thousand soms for up to three years, which can be received by participants of the social contract who have proof of successful business activity for at least 6 months.
“The participants of the program who received an interest-free loan will have a 3-month grace period, after which they will repay the loan in equal installments every month for three years. It is important to note that the program provides loans at the lowest interest rate for the first 600 people who successfully implemented the social contract,” - said the Ministry of Labor.
