03/13/2026, 10:33Ayyl Bank Open Joint Stock Company has officially changed its name and will now operate under the name ABank. The renaming reflects the brand's renewal and the financial institution's desire for modern positioning.
On March 12, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan replaced the bank's license in connection with the renaming.
The new name is intended to emphasize the modern image and increase brand recognition, while the key values — reliability, responsibility, and attention to customers — remain unchanged.
The bank emphasized that the renaming does not affect the financial institution's activities or its obligations to customers and partners. All details, including the TIN, legal address, and bank accounts, remain the same. Previously concluded agreements remain in force, and no reissuing of documents or powers of attorney is required.
The credit institution noted that for more than 30 years, the bank has developed alongside Kyrgyzstan, supporting the country's regions, promoting the development of agriculture, and providing financial support to entrepreneurs and families. During this time, the financial institution has introduced new technologies, expanded its range of services, and improved customer service.
Earlier, Akchabar wrote that the decision to change the name was made on February 2 at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders, which was held with a 100% quorum. During the meeting, the shareholders approved a new version of the charter and decided to re-register the bank with the justice authorities and other state structures.
It should be noted that the financial institution had been operating under the name “Ayyl Bank” since the end of 2006, when the board of the National Bank decided to establish the bank on the basis of OJSC “Kyrgyz Agricultural Financial Corporation.”
