The total assets of insurance organisations grew from 4 billion 727 million KGS in 2021 to 13 billion 832.3 million KGS at the end of 2025.
Equity capital for the same period almost doubled, from 3 billion 611 million KGS to 6 billion 578.5 million KGS. At the same time, the liabilities of insurance companies also grew. While in 2021 they amounted to 1 billion 116 million KGS, by the end of 2025 the figure reached 7 billion 239.8 million KGS.
The volume of insurance reserves in 2024 increased sharply to 5 billion 235.97 million KGS, but in 2025 it decreased to 4 billion 107.1 million KGS.
This trend may indicate a change in the structure of insurance portfolios and a redistribution of risks within the market. Overall, the insurance market in Kyrgyzstan continues to experience active growth, with companies with national capital playing a key role.
