Shares in a scooter rental company have overtaken banks and Kyrgyzneftegaz in terms of trading on the BTC exchange.

Since the end of March 2025, the majority of transactions on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange (KSE) have been consistently dominated by trading in shares of Kikshiring Central Asia, a company that provides electric scooter rental services. The operator's shares, ticker KICK, regularly appear in the exchange's reports, ahead of such players as Uchkun, Kyrgyzneftegaz, a number of banks, and even Airports of Kyrgyzstan in terms of transaction volume.

All trades are conducted with the company's preferred shares. Activity has been observed since the end of March this year. During this time, 48 transactions have already been completed. The largest ones took place in May and June. On May 14, 1,500 shares were sold at 800 KGS  per share for a total of 1.2 million KGS, and on June 17 and 18, transactions were made for 649,600 KGS and 609,600 KGS, respectively.

Interestingly, seven transactions with shares were made at a price of 1 KGS per share. A total of 38,712 preferred shares of the company were sold at this price.

We would like to add that the company itself claims that it occupies 92% of the scooter rental market in Kyrgyzstan and is growing at a triple rate. Revenue increased by 320% in two years, with EBITDA margin of 62%.

At the same time, OJSC Kikshiring Central Asia was registered on March 1, 2024, and its main activity is listed as the rental of leisure and sports equipment. The company was founded with foreign capital.

Data from the Open Budget portal confirms that the company is new. In 2024, it spent only 1,120 KGS through the budget, which was for registration fees and garbage collection. However, in just six months of this year, the amount of payments amounted to 566,400 KGS. But the main flow of tax payments goes through another company, SunRent, in which Kikshiring Central Asia is the sole founder. Since 2022, SunRent has increased its budget payments from 2.97 million KGS to 50.38 million KGS in 2024. From January to May this year, payments already amounted to 17.7 million KGS.

Such indicators may well explain the interest in the company's securities among retail investors.
