07/10/2026, 17:01Today, 10 July, Asman Airlines, in partnership with tour operator Kompas, successfully completed the first international flight of the season on the Almaty–Tamchy–Almaty route, marking the start of the traditional summer flight programme between Kazakhstan and Lake Issyk-Kul.
The first passengers were given a truly warm and hospitable welcome at Issyk-Kul International Airport. OJSC ‘Airports of Kyrgyzstan’ organised a ceremonial reception, where guests were greeted by young women in traditional dress, creating a festive atmosphere.
As part of the summer programme, flights on the Tamchy–Almaty–Tamchy route will operate twice a week – on Mondays and Fridays – until September 2026, providing a comfortable and fast air link between the two countries.
