The anti-corruption work of the State Security Committee has returned over $4 billion to state revenues

The State Committee for National Security reported on the results of anti-corruption activities and the results of its work in 2025. As stated at a meeting of the SCNS board, over the past five years, 352 billion KGS, equivalent to $4.14 billion, have been returned to the state.

The meeting was held on January 29 at the SCNS headquarters with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister and SCNS Chairman Kamchybek Tashiev. It was attended by the heads of the agency's central and regional divisions.

According to the head of the SCNS, the returned funds include cash assets, state property, land plots, and other material assets. All of them are credited to a special account of the President's Stabilization Fund and are used at the discretion of the head of state to finance social and infrastructure projects.

The committee noted that during the reporting period, the main focus was on combating corruption in state bodies, identifying illegal activities of officials, and reducing the influence of organized criminal groups. The agency emphasizes that anti-corruption policy remains one of the key areas of state strategy.
