The new fares will be as follows:
The final price will depend on the date of purchase, flight occupancy and ticket availability in the relevant fare class. Consequently, passengers purchasing tickets closer to their departure date or for the most popular dates may find that their flight costs more.
The airline attributed the need to revise its prices to a sharp rise in fuel costs. According to the carrier, fuel costs in Kyrgyzstan rose by 32 per cent in July. Fuel is one of the main components of the cost of air transport.
Asman Airlines stated that the fare increase is necessary to maintain the regularity of flights, ensure the safe operation of aircraft and uphold the quality of service.
Despite the price rises, the airline intends to continue developing its domestic route network and maintain air links between the regions of Kyrgyzstan. Tickets at the new fares will be available on the carrier’s official website and via its mobile app.
